The D51 steam locomotive supported Japan’s freight transport from the early Showa era through the nation’s period of rapid economic growth. Affectionately known as “Degoichi,” this legendary locomotive remains beloved long after its retirement from regular service.
Now, in celebration of the 100th year of the Showa calendar, it comes to life in a special collaboration watch with Seiko.

Ik hou van de GS esthetiek maar ik blijf dit wel erg heftig vinden met paars en die wijzers en het logo. Maar to each his own uiteraard!

Deze kan er mee door. Alleen de 62GS kast vind ik weinig aantrekkelijk. De minst mooie kastvorm in het GS oevre…lomp zelfs.
