Ik had al 2 vroegere reserveringen maar ging er al vanuit dat het rond de 1000 uit zou komen.
Op 450 miljoen mensen in Europa alleen maak ik me geen zorgen dat ik vaak iemand tegenkom met dezelfde horloge. Ik heb hem besteld omdat hij zo lekker anders is.
Voor mij is het meer een SE. Zie het ook niet echt als een horloge die veel meer waard gaat worden maar meer als iets waar ik gewoon van ga genieten

Ik heb me toch maar ingeschreven.
Je kunt er toch 2 cancelen? En eerlijk gezegd: mocht het beleid met ophogen van de LE tegenstaan dan hebben we nog altijd de mogelijkheid om van de lijst af te gaan.
Kan me niet voorstellen dat je daar rijk van gaat worden

Ik zou er wel graag 1 willen. Mijn dochter heet Luna en we hebben thuis een kleine fascinatie voor de maan, dus als je 1 kwijt wilt hoor ik het graag.

Luna is dead. Long live Luna. Meranom en vostok. Zijn hun afspraken niet nagekomen en er dreigde een inferieur horloge te ontstaan die volledig de plank mis sloeg.
De samenwerking met Olé Dokka de ontwerper is afgeketst. Olé heeft gemeend met een micro rand in zee te gaan waarbij er een horloge gemaakt is die 4x duurder zal zijn. Nu zullen mensen keuzes moeten gaan maken. Of het nog bij hun past en hoe belangrijk het voor je is dat het een Vostok is.

I expected a real tsunami after I wrote and sent the mail last night, butâŠno.
A bit of noise and the usual banging in this group, but nothing dramatic. Obviously, more churn than usual - the price increase alone is a big issue of course - but much less than expected in the âfirst waveâ. However, I understand all of you that pulls out because of the price or if you are a hardcore Vostok fan, almost 1000 USD is a lot of money for all of us. And if you donât even like the design, thatâs a no brainer.
As I think I mentioned yesterday, I canât interact with all the goodbye and âI leaveâ-posts, no time for itâŠHowever, I also see nice and civil exits in the group, in messages and in emails - I appreciate that a lot. I hope we will meet in future projects. 
I need to keep my focus on the glittering prize: Getting the watch produced with the highest quality possible within the framework I got, so everyone that will get it, will be happy they followed through. Personally, I look forward to use it as one of my everyday watches, not a âpresentation pieceâ as I saw someone mentioned.
One important thing I totally forgot to write in yesterdayâs mail:
The price INCLUDES shipping and tax. Yes, includes shipping and tax, this will be PREPAID for more or less all countries. However we are unable to ship to North Korea, Cuba, Crimea, Iran, Syria, Russia, Israel and The Crimea due to prevailing import/export regulations.
Also, the first gang of 114 that now moves up from the waiting list to the reservation list, just received their confirmation email. And almost everyone of them are Norwegian , next lucky number on the waiting list is 598, and the last number on the waiting list is 1331.
Attached here is a spec sheet for the watch, many of you have asked for it - I think this is up to date. Many new images of the final production ready design will be in the next update, hopefully this Friday - together with a timeline for when we open the new website for purchasing. We are making more progress in month now, than in a yeâŠoh well, water under the bridge.

Forgive me for not interacting with all the response after the The Big Price Reveal in last nightâs mail - it was predictable. And understandable. I totally get it. But I canât spend a lot of time dealing with it, my days are too full at the moment.
The harsh response from a some of you is expected. I meanâŠafter 1.5 years with this group, this is by far the most radical and controversial news I ever shared. You usually get fired up by change in colour, change in production number, choice of straps, or placement of the date window.
(not to mention the major date or no date debate!) This new change, is on a different level: not a Vostok, new case design, a very different price point.
But it is not all dark, I get a lot of positive feedback too. From people even more interested now because of the higher quality and more premium finish, others that was in it for the idea - and not the price or Vostok dimension. And from people that just are civil and supportive. Thank you!
The churn is much less than expected so far, however - more than before obviously. first mail to new LUNA serial number holders will be sent later today. I will do daily mails to «new» LUNAs the next three days.
A couple of points that I missed or wrote too little about (I was dead tired when I wrote the mail, after a long working Sunday, preparing a launch for a green hydrogen company later today):

Here is the package as it is defined now:
A limited edition of a maximum of 987 watches with;
A slim 42 mm custom case (designed by Micromilspec), waterproof to 100 m.
Sapphire crystal
A quality rubber strap as standard (see options below)
A Swiss movement: Sellita SW-200
A Cosmodiver dial (as you know very well by now), with Super Luminova on the moon and the dude, and on the 3D disced hour indices. The blue microseconds are now moved to a âchapter ringâ outside the dial.
A Cosmodiver bezel that you also know very well by now. To secure the quality for wear and tear, and keep the colour sceme and the dual function (time zone* and count down numbers in yello), we had to let the Super Luminova go on the bezel ring.
Cosmodiver hands, with Super Luminova on hours, minutes and seconds. The Dual Time hand is gone since a GMT movement from ETA or Sellita would be incredibly expensive, with the quality we would like the watch to have. The bezel will still work as a second time reference.
A much more refined and sculpted caseback, with your serial number and some other information, AND the possiblity to add your own engraving.
A custom crown with a small moon symbol engraved on it
A luxury wooden box for the watch, with a certificate, a âmission badgeâ and optional* straps and bracelet
The price for the base package (all above with a rubber strap): 930 USD / 820 EUR
(*Optional straps that will be offered when you order the watch: Nato, Leather and Bracelet.)

Ik zelf sta op de lijst voor twee horloges. Ik denk sowieso dat ik Ă©Ă©n nummer zal moeten opgeven.
Er zal een betalingsplan komen voor mensen zoals ik die het niet in Ă©Ă©n keer kunnen betalen.
Ik moet daar nog even hard over na moeten denken en misschien een paar stukken moeten loslatenâŠmits ik het doe.

Ein-de-lijk⊠12 sept, laatste datum om je gravering op de caseback aan te passen. Ik ben zo wijs geweest om niets aan te betalen. 
! De doorstart is eindelijk gelukt, compleet ander concept geworden. Nu nog kijken welk nummer ik heb van de 137 stuksâŠ

Mooi hoor. En momenteel ook wel handig dat ie niet meer bij Meranom vandaan moet komen. Betaling en levering zou een âuitdagingâ zijn denk ik. (Is een watchuseek topic over)
