Ik vermoed voornamelijk vanwege de hardlex, voor dat geld verwachten mensen gewoon saffier, terecht denk ik ook. Voor een paar tientjes extra zou dat de lijn wel aantrekkelijker maken.
Persoonlijk ook net die 1,5 mm te groot en de l2l zou voor mij net ietsje kleiner mogen zijn. Maar ik heb relatief smalle poslen, voor velen zou dit eigenlijk niet zo een issue moeten zijn.
Voor sporthorloges met bezel vind ik de maat erg aantrekkelijk. Maar dat Hardlex verhaal… Ja, ik heb ook ergens liever saffier, maar aan de andere kant is Hardlex wel goed ontspiegeld, dus liever dat dan goedkoop saffier wat niet goed AR coated is, zoals bij Hamilton het geval is, vaak.
Voor een slordige vijf a zes honderd Euro heb je tenslotte niet veel meer te kiezen van de Swatch groep. Een PRX doet tenslotte ook al 775 Euro.

Seiko has announced the SPB519 (SBEJ029 JDM) 300m Prospex diver. It has a silvery white dial, red GMT hand, and a blue ceramic bezel insert. The stainless steel case measures 42 x 13.3 x 48.6mm and it utilizes the 6R54 automatic GMT calibre.
It has an expandable clasp with 6 adjustments of 2.5mm each providing a total adjustment of 15mm.
This model is a standard addition to the lineup and is not limited.

Je zou kunnen stellen dat het een duikextensie is en geen micro adjust.
Another important update concerns the bracelet, which retains a classic 3-link construction with brushed surfaces and super-hard coating but, just like the SPB509, adds a six-step on-the-fly micro-adjustment system on the clasp for a 15mm extension range. This is easily done by pressing the two buttons on the side of the clasp.
