Er zitten prachtige klokken bij, maar de vraag is wie er voor een (relatief) onbekend merk zoveel wil betalen. De prijzen liggen toch wel hoog en meestal boven de €1000. Misschien niet zo handig als je bekendheid en marktaandeel wilt krijgen.

Als je iets bijzonders wil maken, als onbekend merk, ben je gewoon een hele hoop geld kwijt. Tenzij je naast je uurwerken ook je kasten e.d. gaat inkopen bij de bekende grote kastenbouwers, en dan zul je je niet kunnen onderscheiden, en hooguit de zoveelste Rolex, Flieger of U-Boat variant kunnen maken.
Ik ben ook eigenlijk aangenaam verast dat iemand als Pellikaan voor relatief lage prijzen toch een orgineel product kan leveren.

Dear friends,
I wanted to share some pictures with you. We are all very exited seeing this all new series come to life! Please note the sapphire shown here, the first prototype sapphires (shown) were delivered with a flat top causing a really strange distortion in the center. This is only a mistake from the sapphire crew for our prototype samples and will be evenly curved in production for a much less distorted view of the dial. The "LT" on the caseback will be centered. Also we have not yet lumed the bezel indices on the sample models shown. This will be done in production. This is a serious heavy duty diver's watch. The case walls are 8.3mm thick! Final weight is coming in around 200 grams.
