I assume it’s real, but can’t tell because i can’t see the dial anymore because of the bad state that it’s in… 
If you want to restore you’ll need a new glass, existing glass is probably mineral. And also the case itself has some brutal life in it. So get your sandpaper and start whiping that watch

The pontiac looks neat though. Not sure if it’s original but as a memory, very nice. Little bit of cleaning and on a nice leather strap since the state of the bracelet.
If they was mine, I would service (take apart, clean and reoil) the pontiac (find a capabel watchmaker).

I’d leave the Citizen as is and give the Pontiac some love, so you can actually wear it on occasion. The value is mainly the emotional link with your grandfather, so the commercial value is not that interesting.
