Jewelers supplies losse uurwerken

Onderstaand geeft een beeld wat een uurwerk kost.

Weet iemand waar je kunt zien wat bijvoorbeeld saffierglas of mineraal glas voor een horloge kost?

I found an interesting site for purchasing movements, supplies, tools, etc.

Interesting enough, I found prices for most of the movements used in CW watches.

  • The C1 uses the Ronda 1014 at a cost of $49 US dollars.

  • The C3 uses the Ronda 5040D at a cost of $55.

  • Both C4’s use similar, ISA 8154-220 and 8174-220. I couldn’t find reference specifically to the (220) or the 8174. The 8154 was $32.

  • The C5’s use, of course, the 2824-2 and was $130. CW probably pays more or the same for bulk supplies. His auto 2824 movements are beautifully finished and that costs more to produce.

  • The C6 used the least expensive of all movements, the Ronda 715 at $12.

By contrast, other movements of interest:

  • The UT 6497, nice manual wind movement, goes for $89.

  • The 2892-A2, the base movement to the Omega Seamaster goes for $250. This movement is use in many of your more expensive, bran-named watches. CW would have to charge at least $100 more for a watch using this movement in place of 2824.

  • The Valjoux 7750 is the most supreme movement of them all at $495. Alone, it’s more than a complete watch. CW would have to more that double the price of his watches to use this movement.
