Retail Price and Availability: According to all the information I could find, availability outside of Japan/Asia is much reduced. Also, I wasn’t able to find a clear price for original retail back in 2000 or thru Higuchi or elsewhere (perhaps some kind readers will post up something) but the aftermarket resale prices seems to vary quite a bit over time. “A Blog To Watch” referenced an eBay listing for used model for $1500 back in 2008. A forum member [Kucimo] listed one on this forum for the all metal bracelet version (CTS57-0691) for $2350, several other want to buy/see postings for used watches dance around just under the 2K range but for the most part the watch has been a bit of a ghost, at least for me anyways. I was able to locate a posting from Katsu-san indicating that some new old stock watches had become available which had had their batteries changes, new seals and perpetual calendar function checked and this was back in 14 October 2008.
