This watch has the smallest ever industrially manufactured automatic movement, regarding the diameter. The only competitor is the Omega 660, with a 4% smaller volume, but a 14% bigger diameter. However, the Omega 660 is conventionally designed, and therefore has only a small balance. The Mido 0620 has an indirectly driven minute, and this allows a balance so big that it overlaps the center of the movement. It is actually as big as in several gents movements. Consequently its oscillation is not jittering as typical for tiny movements; this midget runs steadily like a turret clock.
