Kijk, dit is nou een mooie illustratie waarom ik van Seiko houd. Het feit dat ze Citroën-achtige kolder kunnen maken en publiceren, jaar na jaar, naast de uiterst serieuze haute horlogerie, de sporthorloges van Grand Seiko, de design-forward spullen van Credor en de hele Seiko range an sich, dat is toch prachtig? Noem naast Moser en Studio Underd0g nog eens een merk wat dit soort dingen doet?
Een “he loves me, he loves me not” en vampier-horloge… wat een bazen.

To celebrate the 110th anniversary of Tokyo Station, Seiko is in collaboration with East Japan Railway (JR East) for an exclusive limited edition for this special occasion.
SEIKO (spirit ) X TOKYO STATION
110 Anniversary model
This collaboration model will be presented in an especially designed box and is limited to 300 pieces.
The highly cost-effective Seiko Spirit Chronograph Tachymaster series is used as the base model. The simplistic white dial features cleverly and subtly incorporates some thoughtful elements from the Tokyo Station elements such as the silhouette of the station, the dome of the Marunouchi Building, or the brown crocodile-print calf leather strap inspired by the red bricks at the station.

Mijn god wat een verschrikkelijk ding. Dat ziet er echt uit als zo’n bargain bin generieke quartz met een veel te grote kast.
Waar heeft het station van Tokyo deze blamage du merde aan verdiend, joh?
