Hi All, apologies for the English. I’ve only recently moved to the Netherlands so my Dutch is still a work in progress.
I’m new to watches and a first time poster to the forum, but have been have been learning a lot from you guys.
I’m looking at purchasing my first Omega. It’s a modest little thing, but I rather like it. The buyer is looking for 300 euro. Obviously it’s hard to tell if this is a good deal or not just from the photos but I was wondering if there were any more seasoned collectors in here who could give me some advice. Seller says it runs well, losing -2 to -6 seconds per day. It dates to 1958. It seems a nice start to my collection to me?
Hi and welcome here. I wouldn’t do it. This is a very poorly executed redial, nearly worthless.
Also all four lugs have been terribly mistreated.
De dikte komt niet doordat er co-axials uurwerken (2500/8800/8900, dikte tussen de 4.1 en 5.5mm) gebruikt worden, deze zijn dunner dan bv. de 1575/3035/3135 van Rolex die tussen 6 en 6.35mm dik zijn.

Vreemd, dacht zoiets gelezen te hebben. Wat is dan de reden dat de kasten van Rolex dunner zijn?
Hier toevallig nog iemand die een zwarte Artem loop-less heeft liggen en er wel van af wil?

Can I ask how you can tell it’s a bad redial?
The paint is far too white and the print isn’t as sharp as it should be.
The markers aside, the dial should look more like this (and the hands aren’t in their original state as well and the seconds hand is a later addition. Just too much wrong with that one).
Hierom durf ik dus geen vintage te kopen…Ik had geen idee waar op te letten… Heb ff meegelezen en wat opgestoken.
