@ w.v.setten: En wat klopt er dan sowieso niet aan
die dial?
Kan je dat uitleggen?
In de listing van dit horloge staat het volgende:
“The new dial on this watch has been professionally made and now is in excellent condition.”
item 270724655261, seller is abv1224, natuurlijk 100% feedback
Maar… uit de Oekraïne, dus erg ‘creatief’.

CHRONOMETRE PARAGON
MILITARY WRISTWATCH
This auction highlights interesting collectible specimen of the men’s timepiece from the WWII period. It is a piece of history that survived the war on the eastern front which saw much of the bloodiest battles of WW2! It is a unique military watch of the Luftwaffe. Luftwaffe is a generic German term for an air force. It is also the official name for two of the four historic German air forces, the Wehrmacht air arm founded in 1933 and disbanded in 1946; and the current Bundeswehr air arm founded in 1956.
In 1930-1940’s, many Swiss manufacturers supplied watches mainly for military purposes and this specimen is executed in a military style. It is an early variant of the big navigation watch of the Luftwaffe with hour angle indication, featuring a 60 minute checkered outer track border, inner line of 1-12 hour numbering, easily readable Arabic figures of a military style, and large blue steel hands. The new dial on this watch has been professionally made and now is in excellent condition.
The triple-piece case with the solid lugs is in good condition. On the back cover there is a marking of Luftwaffe ‘FI’ (Flight) with number #246.
The winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly.
The original movement of the mechanical watch was very well saved, considering age of this watch. This mechanical CHRONOMETRE is a watch tested and certified to meet certain precision standards. On the movement there is inscription ‘CHRONOMETRE PARAGON’ and a serial number #264260.
The watch is fitted on a new 22 mm black genuine high-quality leather strap with chrome steel buckle. The beautiful strap that is stitched by white threads is military style and goes very well with this wonderful watch.
Diameter watch: 50 mm
Thickness watch: 15 mm
In spite of the fact that watch has passed the whole war, it is in excellent working condition and it well holds time. The military watch is a very nice piece of military memorabilia. Such watches are getting increasingly harder to find and as a result the prices are climbing. So this watch is a find for the collector! Make a bid and you’ll add to your collection unique trophy of the Second World War.
