He actually received two of these duds.
First one had wonky bezel, so he contacted seller that sent second one without any questions. Without confirmed return of the first oneā¦ nothing. There, have it.
After second one arrived , he became suspicious so he did a little investigationā¦
Dial colour is off. Thatās first. Itās not quite easy to manage sunburst but emerald is quite difficult. Crown does not screw down completely. There is a fraction of mm between case and crown. Seiko Emblem is crooked. Lume is weak. All the Seikos (even the cheapest 5ers ) gain charge on Lumibrite and glow like a thorch. This looks like C3 or something.
Offcourse he has gone beserk. Contacted seller, which has immediately canceled order so he could not post negative feedback. Instantly seller emptied his stock of ārefurbished Alpinistsā

Soā¦ be very careful. There are fake Alpinists. Ik mag geen fotos plaatsen van fake horloges dus geen fotos.

Aaaah ik ben dus nu ook in het bezit van een horloge dat nagemaakt wordt. 
Maar een linkje naar de betreffende site waar deze info staat, mag dat wel? Ben wel benieuwd eigenlijk.
