Searching watchmaker around Utrecht for Moonwatch 3570.50

Hi there Horlogeforum.nl,

First of all please apologise me writing in English, however having just relocated to the Netherlands I’m not yet in the position to converse in Dutch. I’m an avid watch collector and long term member of TZ-UK and Chronocentric, however now living in the Netherlands.

On the weekend I was visiting the local OMEGA dealer and asked them whether or not they were in the position to change the hour/minute hands of my Speedmaster to the silver ones from the Mitsubishi model. Their answer was a plain “No, that’s not possible”… ok…
I have already sourced the hands and am simply looking for a skilled and recommended watchmaker in the Utrecht area to fit them without ruining the dial.

Thanks a lot in advance for your help in pointing me in the right direction as where to find a trusty independent watchmaker.

Hi

You can go to Ron Sonders in Leusden (near Amersfoort). Believe he is a certified Omega Service Center and can certainly help you!

You can also go to Wesselink & Vreeker in Alkmaar. Also a certified Omega Service Center and you can probably wait for it.

I’ve seen mercedes hands but i never heard of the mitsubushi hands haha. Do you want to post a picture when it’s done? (If it’s possible)

Hi Gerry,

Depending on where you are, you could also give Nico Rijsman a call. He’s in Culemborg (south of Utrecht, Leusden is north of Utrecht) and also an Omega certified watchmaker. I think he’s done a couple of Mitsukoshi mods before.
