Ik was vooral geïntrigeerd door de combi zwarte kast en stalen bezel.
Is deze samengesteld/gemod?

Tijd niet gedragen.
Had hem op brushed mesh, maar de tropic zit toch beter. Blijft een lekker ding.

SPECIAL EDITIONS 2023 - THE SQUALE MONTAUK
The Squale Montauk is an exclusive collection given to our Authorized Dealer Long Island Watch , located in Long Island, New York, USA.
The name given to the watch, Montauk, is a popular tourist destination at the east end of Long Island, NY.
Montauk is known for its beaches, fishing and strong Atlantic surf. It has a historical 1796 landmark lighthouse that houses documents signed by George Washington. It is also known for the mysterious Camp Hero State Park (once a U.S. WWII Military base) and for the Montauk monster found washed up on a beach back in 2008.
The case diameter for the Squale MTK-11 is 38mm and it’s 12mm thick with a lug to lug measurement of 46mm. The case is made from 316L stainless steel that features a combination of polished and satin finishes. The screw-down caseback has an etched Squale logo and the screwdown crown has an embossed version of the logo. Water resistance is an impressive 300 meters.
The Swiss Made Sellita SW200-1 powers the watch and it handwinds and hacks, with a power reserve of about 40 hours. There is no date window on the dial to keep it super clean, and the texture is reminiscent of a sand beach. The uni-directional diver marked bezel has a K1 mineral insert with a vintage colored Super-LumiNova triangle marker. The hands and markers are generously filled with C3 Super-LumiNova to really make the time legible at night. To enhance dial clarity, Squale uses a flat sapphire crystal that has an anti-reflective coating on the inside surface. The watch comes with an Italian rubber strap and polished buckle.

Alleen verkrijgbaar in the US, 't lijkt weer eens een samenwerking met een AD zoals Squale dat wel vaker doet. Gnomon heeft ook aan de lopende band ‘iets bijzonders’.
Ik weet trouwens nog niet wat ik van deze uitvoering moet vinden. Ik vind bijvoorbeeld de grote kroon een beetje, ûh … out of context. 
Vermoed dat de meeste in onze kroeg wel blij gaan zijn met 38mm én deze Tropic band. Beide geven mij niet direct de “ik wil 'm” kriebels. Ik vind het dan ook niet zo erg dat deze alleen bij ‘ik ben gek op Youtube’ Marc te krijgen is.
