Dat is gewoon de kleur wijzerplaat, dzt heeft noks met fauxtina te maken. Die kleur vind ik ook erg mooi, en maakt het horloge. Het is de kleur van de lumeplots die ik minder geslaagd vind.
Excuus, de term verkeerd geïnterpreteerd. Mij stoort het eerlijk gezegd niet zo heel erg.
Wellicht dat ik hem in de nabije toekomst wel op de kop tik, zij het voor een leuk bedrag.

Zeker! Longines is goed bezig.
Polsmaaat 17,3 cm.
Een 36 explorer is voor mij een goede maat omdat die geen bezel heeft zoals een duiker ofzo.

Ik denk zelfs dat niet beoogd is het fauxtina te laten zijn. Het is nl wel heel kanariegeel. Een designdingetje denk ik. Lees: hoop ik

While the Antarctic’s case and crown are undeniably elegant, it’s the dial that truly stands out as the watch’s centerpiece. Available in three distinct colors — black, white, and eggshell/off-white — the dial boasts applied steel indexes. At the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions we have Art Deco-style numerals, while arrowheads (you could say faceted icicles) serve as indexes. Brilliant details, both literally and figuratively. Instead of the conventional luminescent dots, we have curved, slightly orange luminescent arcs painted on the outer edge of the hour markers. The dial proudly bears the ‘Nivada Grenchen’ signature below the 12, with «Antarctic» just above the 6. Beneath it, hugging the outer edge of the minute track, a discreet ‘Swiss’. The steel hands are of the classic dauphine style, with a slim luminescent band at their center. The elongated second hand, crafted in blued steel, adds an extra touch of elegance. Ik heb toch eens een kijkje op hun website genomen en deze spreekt mer heel erg aan. Zo erg zelfs dat ik mijn longines plan even vergeet.

Fenomenaal mooie wijzerplaat op die Sherpas, mijn foto’s doen ze geen recht. Een beetje te groot voor mijn 17cm pols, maar voor wie het wel zou passen…
