Zoals ik zonet las, enorm goede watch market ontwikkelingen voor Seiko TMI en SII hierdoor.
Seiko taking over the Chinese export watch movement market?
I was just reading up on Tian Wang watches (Time Watch Investments Limited), one of the four largest watch manufacturers in China, and they use Miyota and Seiko/TMI movements for their automatic watches. The company has a pilot program to use Chinese movements in a few models, but that hasn’t had a big impact. Tian Wang is mostly a China Domestic Market company, and they put very little effort into exports. TWI also formed a Swiss watch company, Balco, that produces Swiss Made watches for the Chinese market with ETA 2824-2 movements.

CityChamp, the owners of Dixmont, Eterna, Corum, Ebohr and Rossini brand watches, also uses Japanese movements in a number of their Chinese market models. Rossini and Ebohr have over a 50% market share of the Chinese watch market. Instead of producing an upgraded Dixmont (DG) movement for their upscale models, they are known to use Miyota 9100 series calibers. Others, like the ladies watch below, have the Seiko NH35A. Remember, this is the conglomerate that OWNS Dixmont!

Mooi. Nu alleen nog een filmpje van een poes in een turqoise haaienpak op een robotstofzuiger achterna gezeten door een baby-eendje en een hond in een blauw haaienpak en dan is het internet eindelijk af.

Vriendelijk geformuleerd :wink: . Seiko TMI en SII zijn beide Seiko, maar het verhaal gaat over TWI die ETA’s maakt voor de Chinese markt… of zoiets…denk ik…

Met de beste bedoeling heb ik het goede nieuws willen delen. Ik wist niet dat dit hier bekend is, ik heb slechts ‘my 2 cents’ aan het forum hier willen bijdragen.
Het aandeel van de Chinese thuismarkt op de totale wereldproductie is 40%-50% !
Gezien de reacties, begrijp ik niet wat ik daaraan heb verkeerd gedaan, leg me dat uit a.u.b., want daar leer ik van.
Op deze wijze kan ik er niet van leren wat er fout aan is.
Ik ben nog niet zo lang echt horlogefanaat, help me er even mee, alvast dank.
